Refund policy

This policy applies to all purchases made through the Dragon’s Dream 3D online store (Simple By Design Ltd trading as Dragon’s Dream 3D).
1. General Returns Policy
We accept returns and refunds, subject to the following conditions:
- You must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging.
- Returns for items that are not damaged on delivery are at the customer’s expense.
- International returns may be subject to customs fees, taxes, and duties, which are also the responsibility of the customer. We are based in the United Kingdom.
- Special or custom orders are not eligible for returns or refunds, unless they arrive damaged on delivery, or unless otherwise agreed with Dragon’s Dream 3D.
If you are unsure whether your item qualifies for a return, please contact us before making a purchase.
2. Refunds & What They Cover
If your return is accepted, the refund will cover:
✅ The cost of the item(s) as billed (refunds will only be for the amount paid, not including discount vouchers. If a gift card was used, the value will be return as a gift card)
✅ The original postage cost
✅ Only if items are returned in their original condition and undamaged
❌ We do not cover the cost of return shipping unless the item was faulty or damaged on arrival.
Refunds will be processed within 7 days of receiving the returned items.
3. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items
Some items and services cannot be returned or refunded, including:
- Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, newspapers, magazines)
- Digital or downloadable products (e.g., STL files, software)
- Gift cards or gift-wrapping services
- Discounted or sale items (refund eligibility varies; please check before purchasing)
Refunds due to damaged items will be on a per item basis.
4. If You Change Your Mind (Consumer Contracts Regulations)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you change your mind about a purchase within 14 working days after receiving your order, you are entitled to:
- A full refund of the item’s purchase price
- A refund of the original postage cost
However, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
5. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your item is faulty, does not work properly, or is not as described, please contact us before requesting a refund. We may be able to offer:
- A replacement
- A partial or full refund
Notification of damaged items must be made as soon as possible after delivery.
6. How to Request a Return or Refund
If you would like to return an item, please:
- Contact us first to confirm your return eligibility.
- We will provide you with the return address as part of the returns process.
- Package the item securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Ship the item back using a trackable service where possible.
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of your refund status. Approved refunds will be processed within 7 days and credited to your original payment method.
